I designed an office space for Ram Insurance, a company under the Koç Holding umbrella. The design process began with using the open office area, which facilitates a concentrated working environment, as the backbone of the layout. The central part of the office was dedicated to general staff, aiming to foster collective development and collaboration. Around this central core, we positioned the team leaders, ensuring that the collective workspace was divided into four sections. Each section, along with the strategically placed team leaders, was designed to encourage harmonious and efficient teamwork. Additionally, we incorporated quiet rooms where team members could hold private meetings with clients. At the entrance, we designed an inviting reception area and a meeting room to ensure clients are welcomed warmly and professionally.
From an aesthetic perspective, we recognized the significant impact of steel reinforcements supporting the concrete structural elements on the overall visual identity of the space. We turned this into an advantage for our design by showcasing the inherent strength of steel combined with concrete. To convey the resilience of the insurance company to its clients, we deliberately exposed the structural relationship between steel and concrete. The electrical and lighting elements were also left exposed to reinforce this sense of strength. To maintain the concept of raw and powerful minimalism, we used transparent partitions between team leaders, ensuring visual continuity while subtly delineating their spaces
